I have always been impressed with Aldi even in the 70's while still living in Bremen-Germany. Shopping at Aldi is actually a science in itself, but fun. There is a trick to it. (Check the flyers for special sales and products, make your list, then get to Aldi as soon as the products arrive as shown on the flyers dates. - Then by in"bulk". Love the X-mass sweets and cookies. Time to get them now.The Concord store was nice and neat for its Grand Opening. People are great, staff was friendly and outgoing.I wish Aldi had various sizes of carts. Mainly smaller ones. With an aging population (more people over 50) we no longer shop for a family of 4-6 but now for Mini-Households of 2-1 members. Sincerely, Renate P. in Concord
